• Load record card provides lot identification and allows users to document load contents.
• Lot identification enables personnel to retrieve items in the event of a recall and to trace problems to their source.
• Patient record card is an easy to implement system for tracking sterilized items directly to the patient they were used on.
• Simply tape card to the outside of every package and apply a lot control sticker to the card.
• The OR then separates it at the perforation and places the card on the patient chart.
